• Intervan works with the client to create flatfiles to and from the in-house system.
• Each transaction type to be implemented is drawn up, one flat file for each transation is set (invoices, purchase orders, ship notices, etc.).
• We then create maps on our Internet servers to interface with the client's Trading Partners.
• Since the flat files are already defined, new Trading Partners can be set up with minimal cost and time.
• Our Internet servers also define any table lookups that are necessary (part numbers or ship-to locations) and delivery options (scheduled, real-time, FTP or SMTP).
• Intervan also sets up the Trading Partner preferences for Network Interface and Functional Acknowledgement treatment.
• We can interface with virtually any Trading Partner regardless of which VAN they are using.
